Making a smoothie is a great way to add additional nutrients into your body during the day if you feel you're choosing the wrong snack foods.

Our lives are so incredibly busy and the last thing (I hear) people feel like doing is, exercising to lose excess weight.

But with the sedentary lifestyles most are living today, it's no wonder NZ is the 3rd Fattest Nation in the World.

This is not the post to bleat on about losing weight it's to give you some Healthy Smoothie recipes so you can not reach for the muffin and coffee at morning tea.

Just add in One a Day...this is a simple step to help you move you towards a healthier lifestyle.

USANA NZ Nutrimeal Chocolate

Chocolate Covered Cherry Delight

3 scoops Dutch Chocolate Nutrimeal 12 oz. (360 mL) water (or try with almond milk)
1 cup frozen cherries 1 cup of ice Blend in a blender approx. 1 minute

Chocolate-Peanut Butter Smoothie 3 scoops Dutch Chocolate Nutrimeal

12 oz. (360 mL) water 2 Tbsp. powdered peanut butter ice Blend in Blender Bottle

Nutritious and Delicious Good Morning Shake

USANA NZ Nutrimeal Shake
3 scoops Dutch Chocolate Nutrimeal 1 scoop Fibergy Booster 16 oz. (470 mL) water 1 banana
1 apple ice Blend in a blender approx. 1 minute

Berry Chocolatey 3 scoops Dutch Chocolate or French Vanilla Nutrimeal

11 oz. (320 mL) water 1 banana ½ cup frozen mixed berries 1 single serving (100 mL) yogurt, any flavor Blend Nutrimeal and water in blender first, then add remaining ingredients approx. 1 minute

3 scoops French Vanilla Nutrimeal 12 oz. (360 mL) cold water ½ cup ice

1 cup mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blackberries) Blend in blender approx. 1 minute

Lemon Meringue Pie

3 scoops of French Vanilla Nutrimeal 14 oz. (400 mL) almond milk 1 scoop of Fibergy Booster 1/2 tsp lemon flavoring/extract (add more to taste) 1/4 tsp of almond extract Blend in BlenderBottle®

Cappuccino

3 scoops of French Vanilla or Dutch Chocolate Nutrimeal
USANA NZ Nutrimeal Cappucino Smoothie
10-12 oz. (360 mL) coffee
½ cup ice Blend in BlenderBottle

Healthy Holiday Nog

3 scoops French Vanilla Nutrimeal 16 oz. (500 mL) cold water 2 tablespoons sugar-free vanilla instant pudding powder ½ tsp cinnamon ½ tsp nutmeg ½ tsp brandy or rum extract flavoring ½ cup ice Blend in blender approx. 1 minute

Get Up & Go Shake

USANA NZ Nutrimeal Go Go Shake
2 scoops French Vanilla Nutrimeal 12 oz. (360 mL) cold water ½ cup frozen blueberries ½ banana – whole banana ¾ – 1 cup plain yogurt (0% – 3% you choose) 1 Tbsp. organic coconut oil
1-2 tsp. cinnamon 1 Tbsp. Chia seeds 1 heaping Tbsp. organic Hemp powder 1 heaping Tbsp. organic Cocoa powder 2 tsp. organic Maca powder Small handful of raw oatmeal Blend in a blender approx. 1 minute

Happy Green Smoothie

3 scoops French Vanilla Nutrimeal 10 oz. (300 mL) water 1 cup ice 2 handfuls of baby kale or spinach 1 pear Blend in blender approx. 1 minute
