Most people already have started their New Years resolutions and as you'd guess, this keeps health professionals employed.

First off. The Top 5 NY Resolutions are:

1) Get fit and healthy 37%

2) Lose Weight 32%

3) Enjoy life to the fullest 28%

4) Spend less, save more 21%

5) Spend more time with family and friends 16%

It's seems crazy though that over 90% of NY Resolutions fail before February; statistically they have been shelved until the end of the year when their tipsy Auntie shouts out over New Years Eve drinks 'Whats Everyone's NY's Resolutions....?' and it all gets to repeat itself.

One thing that appears to stick around all year however is the commercial diets that swing from tabloid to tabloid and end up on the front covers of trashy magazines.

You'll know what I mean when you see that photo-shopped Kim Kadaschinan (I'm not even going to look up how to spell that last name) holds a plate of something on the front cover of New Idea, then it becomes the New Diet thing to do.

Well let me put it out there. Any Diet that restricts whole food groups will fail you. It's not healthy nor is it sustainbale.
